The much anticipated 2010 World Cup finally kicked off on June 11, 2010 with much pomp and celebration.Nelson Mandela could not be in attendance because of the sad and tragic demise of his great grand-daughter.
A few teams have already played their first Group matches and have made their way to the score board.
Though we've not had high scoring matches, apart from the Germany/Australia match, the World Cup matches have lived up to their expectations. We can expect to see a lot of great matches that will go down in World Cup Soccer history.
