Amazon Associate Program

amazon associate program Amazon.com is America's largest online retailer as of January 2010. Founded in 1994, very early on they capitalized on the online shopping phenomenon that was taking place and leveraged with the power of the internet.

Online shopping is become so convenient and commonplace with easy access to comparison shopping, for example. Most people are living hectic lives and are trying to save time. The trend in online shopping is increasing and shows no signs of stopping.

This trend has opened up a huge opportunity for sellers online. With the rise in blogging and consumers looking for reviews on products before they buy, Amazon has come up with a way to leverage from this which gave birth to the AMAZON ASSOCIATE PROGRAM.

If you're into blogging and not yet an Amazon Associate, you are losing out on a great potential to monetize your blog. The blogger platform has made things even simpler by incorporating an Amazon module to easily add product links, banners and pictures directly while writing your blog post.

I'm Enjoying Turning Pictures into Music Videos

The use of video marketing online is increasing as more and more people have less time to read.  They prefer watching to reading.

According to comScore "78.5 percent of the total U.S. Internet audience viewed online video."

I've written a Squidoo lens (web page) on "VIDEO-MAKING MADE EASY" so I won't elaborate on this here.

My intention of this blog post is to give a quick update on how I'm enjoying turning pictures into cool, professional-looking videos and it's quite simple to do.

You can watch this short YouTube video I created to see how simple it is:

Hope you enjoyed watching this video and learning how to make your own cool video!

Apple iPad Reviewed (coming to Canada May 28, 2010)

Apple iPad MB292LL/A Tablet (16GB, Wifi)The Apple iPad has been touted by many as a "laptop killer" before it actually launched.

However, now that reviews are pouring in through first-hand experience, the verdict is out ~ the iPad is not a "netbook or laptop killer"!

Having said so, it has a lot to offer - so the question still remains, does the iPad live up to all the hype and buzz?

Well, the answer to that is YES and NO...hah...you probably didn't want to hear that, but that's the nature of this slick and popular device.

Well overall, it lives up to its expectations from the amazing slick look, speed in accessing apps, battery life and overall versatility. But, like I said earlier, if you were thinking it's going to replace your laptop or desktop, it ain't - at least not yet!

I've done a more detailed review of the iPad on my Amazon Blog, CLICK HERE to read it.

Watch Out for these Common Grammatical Errors

Grammatical errors in articles or blogs can make a difference in conveying the message to your readers.

I personally think that it's important to be aware of some especially common grammatical mistakes that can alter the message and make one's writing look sloppy.

I recently created a Squidoo web page where I discuss some of the most common mistakes made by writers and what to do about it.

I discuss the correct usage of the words “There, Their and They're”, “You're and Your”, “Than and Then”, “Its and It’s”, and "Lose and Loose".
