Day 10 at the World Cup Soccer in South Africa

The soccer 2010 World Cup kicked off on June 11, 2010 and it's been filled with triumphs, upsets, drama, excitement and lots more.

The teams that have been able to stay ahead of the pack and on top their groups are as I've shown below:

Group A: Uruguay and Mexico
Group B: Argentina
Group C: Slovenia
Group D: Ghana
Group E: Netherlands
Group F: Paraguay
Group G: Brazil
Group H: Chile and Switzerland

Some top World Cup teams that were upset are: France, England, Germany, Italy and Spain. They are still in contention, but will have to work hard to make through the second round.

World Cup Soccer Fever Is Spreading!

Soccer World Cup Preview 2010The 2010 FIFA World Cup soccer tournament begins in approximately 41 days and soccer fans are waiting in anticipation for one of the most popular sport's tournament in the world.

It happens every four years and a lot happens during this period in terms of the qualifying rounds and preparation by the host country.

South Africa is all set and all eyes will be watching as the curtains open on June 11, 2010 as the host nation takes on Mexico.
